Mission
ARISE is a UNDRR-led network of private sector entities, whose members voluntarily commit to align with the Sendai Framework. ARISE members share information, experience, activities, and projects, while the level of involvement and resources is at the discretion of each member. Most activities and interactions are a local and regional level, and ARISE is structured accordingly.
The organization has no registered commitments.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.

This action guide aims to support local governments in developing and implementing an action plan to address gaps identified in their resilience strategies based on the results from the use of the UNDRR Disaster Resilience Scorecard for Cities.
