An impactful one-day seminar, part of the Making Cities Resilient 2030 initiative, was successfully held on 4th of July in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event took place at the Social Services House under the auspices of the Almaty City Hall.

In an effort to bolster the resilience of Serbian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) has introduced a customized Business Continuity Plan (BCP) tool.

After several months of intensive work, Central Bosnia Canton has finalized its Cantonal Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction for the period from 2024 to 2030.

As part of its support to Government of Montenegro, the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction in Europe and Central Asia, ran an expert reviewed assessment of the zero-draft National DRR Strategy of Montenegro 2025-2030.

The Europe and Central Asia Regional Platform for DRR invites stakeholders to submit applications for booth spaces at the Marketplace. Applications should be submitted by 31 July 2024.

To strengthen local preparedness and support cities in reducing risk and building resilience, UNDRR ROECA expanded its cooperation in 2024 with four Moldovan cities: Anenii-Noi, Căușeni, Leova, and Sîngera.

From May 22nd to 24th, the 10th Meeting of the Network of Portuguese Resilient Cities and Towns, integrated into the National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), took place in Évora, Alentejo region of Portugal.
