UNDRR advanced partnerships and local resilience action in Greece through multiple meetings and events in Athens, reinforcing collaboration on urban resilience, extreme heat, wildfire risk governance, and community engagement.

An extended steering committee meeting of the joint UNDRR–Government of Switzerland project, “Strengthening Resilience to Disasters and Climate Change in Tajikistan,” was held in Dushanbe.

The Tajikistan National DRR Platform held a meeting under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister to discuss the implementation of the National DRR Strategy and the National Roadmap for Enhancing EWS in the country.

On 15 December 2025, Tajikistan National Pillar Leads convened a coordination meeting with the relevant state agencies to review the implementation of the National Roadmap on Enhancing Early Warning System in the country.

The Interagency Working Group of the National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) convened to review progress in the implementation of the National DRR Strategy and to discuss priority actions to strengthen the capacity of the Platform.

UNDRR organized a workshop in the Republic of Moldova with local level stakeholders on disaster risk reduction and climate action on 9 December 2025.

On the first anniversary of the Government of the Republic of Moldova’s approval of the National DRR Strategy 2024–2030, national stakeholders convened in Chisinau to advance its implementation and strengthen alignment with the climate agenda.

In Tajikistan, from 12-14 November 2025, an important training workshop on using risk knowledge for multi-hazard early warning systems took place within the framework of the project “Strengthening resilience to disasters and climate change in Tajikistan.”

UNDRR and South Korea's NDTI organized a week-long study visit with a delegation of 13 disaster management officers to Bonn and Frankfurt, Germany.

On 16-17 October 2025, Dushanbe in the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a series of high-level regional events focused on disaster risk reduction, urban resilience, and early warning systems in Central Asia.
