The Sixth Global Expert Forum for Producers and Users of Disaster-related Statistics will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 3-4 September 2026, with participation both in person and online. English-Russian interpretation will be provided. The Forum builds on the outcomes of previous expert fora and will focus on translating the Global Disaster-related Statistics Framework (G-DRSF) into practice, with particular emphasis on country experiences, institutional arrangements, and methodological guidance.

The Expert Forum will bring together stakeholders involved in the production and use of disaster-related statistics, including representatives from NSOs, NDMOs, geospatial and mapping agencies, finance ministries, central banks and financial sector regulatory bodies, international and regional organizations, academia, the private sector, civil society and champion experts.

The Forum aims to advance the operationalization and implementation of the G-DRSF by fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange between producers and users of disaster-related statistics.
