The consultations in Fiji were conducted as a complementary activity to the HFA Monitor Country Progress Review. Issues discussed included i) achievements, challenges, and opportunities, ii) disaster and development, iii) accountability and governance, iv) linking DRM and climate change.
The workshop is a national level training course that lasts for three days. The training will empower participants to draw upon global best practices for recovery and reconstruction. Each workshop can engage up to 40 participants.
