In the Sendai Framework Monitor, the regional module is a new feature which allows inter- governmental regional organizations to monitor progress against regional DRR frameworks.
This feature aims to avoid duplication of efforts by providing a single space where Member States monitor and report their DRR progress at national, regional, and global levels.
In Africa, the regional module will contribute to Member States’ efforts to report on the additional targets of the Programme of Action for the Implementation of the Sendai Framework in Africa (PoA) under the leadership of the African Union Commission (AUC).
