In the third quarter of 2026, UNDRR ONEA-GETI achieved key global and regional milestones in disaster risk reduction and climate resilience, headlined by the 5th International Disaster Resilience Leaders Forum (IDRLF 2026) in Incheon. IDRLF 2026 addressed local implementation gaps and AI-driven governance, anchoring a series of impactful initiatives including global MCR2030 Resilience Hub exchanges and capacity-building engagements targeting APEC and ASEAN members. The quarter's achievements also highlight an AI Training of Trainers workshop for experts from Asia and Europe, an introductory DRR briefing for students at the Trilateral Youth Summit, technical support for Makati City's extreme heat risk management plan, KSSP Training of Trainers workshops for 138 CCS instructors in Korea, a project preparation workshop transforming climate adaptation ideas into fundable proposals, and a scorecard assessment training session empowering participants from Ukraine, India, and Bangladesh to translate diagnostics into actionable resilience strategies.
