Accelerating the Integration of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation in Belém: From Analysis to Action

This virtual technical workshop will bring together key municipal, state, academic and civil society actors to advance the practical integration of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation in Belém, in the post-COP30 context. The event forms part of an ongoing UNDRR technical assistance process supporting the Municipality of Belém in the implementation of a Comprehensive Disaster and Climate Risk Management (CRM) approach. Building on recent analytical work, the session will present key findings and recommendations and focus on governance, policy instruments and the use of risk information to support informed decision-making and the operationalisation of risk-informed urban and territorial policies
