Djibouti National Platform for DRR

In December 2024, Djibouti launched a national consultation aimed at revising its DRR strategy and setting up a National Multi-Stakeholder DRR Platform. The consultation involved national institutions, UN agencies, and partners, and worked to align the DRR strategy with the Sendai Framework 2015-2030, the SDGs, and the Paris Agreement. 

The workshop produced draft terms of reference for the platform, action plan components, and strategic objectives. 

One of the main responsibilities of the National Platform will be to develop and regularly review national strategies for DRR, and ensure their integration into national, sectoral, and local planning.
