Webinar: Strengthening Disaster Recovery through Law and Institutional Frameworks in Africa

This virtual seminar will bring together recovery practitioners and government representatives from several African countries, including Mozambique and Sierra Leone, to exchange experiences on strengthening recovery through legal and institutional approaches. This session will explore how laws, policies and institutional arrangements can establish the foundations for effective, inclusive and sustainable disaster recovery drawing on country experiences. The session will cover recovery ready legal and institutional systems; a ssessing, financing and sustaining recovery; and Building Back safer, greener and more resilient.
