[UNDRR-NRC-ARISE Philippines] Orientation on Urban Resilience
Objectives
Under the umbrella of MCR2030, UNDRR, NRC, and ARISE Philippines are co-organizing a series of trainings to support urban resilience and local government authorities in the Philippines, spanning from December 2025 to mid-2026. The Orientation Session on Urban Resilience aims to expose participants to urban resilience concepts and tools available by NRC (Adopt-A-City), UNDRR (MCR2030, Disaster Resilience Scorecard for Cities and thematic addenda such as the inclusion of persons with disabilities, climate resilience, multi-hazard early warning system, disaster displacement, extreme heat, etc.), and ARISE (to strengthen LGU’s engagement with private sector).
Target participants
Local government authorities in the Philippines and other stakeholders as identified by NRC, ARISE Philippines and UNDRR. No restriction on the number of participants for the online session.
