Training on Disaster Risk Reduction and Urban Resilience for Arab Cities

The United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia (UCLG MEWA) is organizing a 2-day training on Disaster Risk Reduction and Urban Resilience for Arab Cities, in collaboration with the UNDRR Regional Office for Arab States, UCLG Learning, and Arab Towns Organization.

The training aims to develop the risk management skills of local and regional administrations, determine the sources of funds that can be utilized, and contribute to the formation of strategies and action plans regarding disaster risk reduction and disaster risk management, thus preventing the disruption of economic and social life due to disasters. The training primarily aims to provide knowledge to the technical personnel working in local governments.
