As part of the MCR2030 Digital Resilience Webinar Series, the second webinar on Implementing Digital Resilience aims to support Ukrainian cities to consider how to use digital technologies and innovations to respond to emergencies, reconstruction and recovery. Building on the experiences shared by European cities and experts during the first webinar on Understanding Digital Resilience: Opportunities and Challenges in November 2022, this webinar considers how digital technologies can help cities and communities to build resilient systems that incorporate humanitarian aid, socio-economic regeneration and structural governance reforms with long-term sustainable development that ensures a socially just and green transition? Embedding the principles of agility and transparency in risk governance and decision-making, speakers will explore how Ukraine could harness the potential of data and technology in areas such as cyber defence, disaster damage and loss assessments, social media analytics, data mining, reconstruction modelling, and urban neighbourhood regeneration, to develop effective digital resilience systems provide an enabling environment for building back better, that can ensure having a socially just and green transition.
