In the milestone year of the launch of the Regional Assessment Report (RAR), this event of the MCR2030 Knowledge Exchange Labs series focuses on local collaboration, innovative financing, and urban resilience as key strategies to address the increasing challenges of disaster risk and climate change in cities across Latin America and the Caribbean.

With the participation of local governments, national actors, the GAP Fund, and partners from the Making Cities Resilient 2030 (MCR2030) initiative, the event aims to foster a space for dialogue among cities, share concrete experiences from Resilience Hubs, and showcase practical tools to accelerate the implementation of urban resilience agendas.

Drawing from the findings of the RAR, the event will explore gaps in investment, preparedness, and inclusion, highlighting how coordinated efforts among local governments, technical partners, and international networks can help scale effective solutions tailored to local realities, in alignment with the Sendai Framework.
