This session of the Making Cities Resilient 2030 (MCR2030) webinar aims to provide in-depth information to help cities, local authorities, and their partners understand better what the City Resilience Program is and how to access its support. It will include the information on the type of support provided, the eligibility criteria and relevant application process. It will also highlight some examples of the types of successful projects and key components of what makes these applications successful. Cities shall be equipped with necessary information should they be interested to apply for the City Resilience Program support.

UNDRR Regional Office for the Arab States will organize a National Workshop on Sendai Framework Monitor and Disaster Loss Accounting System for YEMEN (Aden, 30 January – 02 February 2022)

Within the framework of cooperation between the Egyptian Cabinet Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) and the United Nations Regional Office for the Arab States for Disaster Risk Reduction, a joint workshop will be organized from 30 to 31 January in Cairo under the theme “Build Back Better after COVID -19 and the Impact of Climate Change on Sustainable Development”.

The purpose of the Expert Group meeting on the Principles for Resilient Infrastructure is to solicit input and feedback from leading experts on the Principles, their applicability to various sectors and the indicators that are needed to measure them.
