Through its unique community platform, UNDRR ensures that knowledge, data and evidence is provided equitably to all. Launched in 2007, PreventionWeb is the world’s only global knowledge platform on disaster risk and resilience. PreventionWeb helps the global community understand disaster risk and build resilience to disasters, by providing cutting-edge, ground-truthed information from respected individuals, communities, and organizations that provide their experience and knowledge to address the world’s most pressing issues.

International Recovery Platform (IRP)

IRP is a global partnership working to strengthen knowledge, and share experiences and lessons on building back better in recovery, rehabilitation, and reconstruction. It is a joint initiative of United Nations organizations, international financial institutions, national and local governments, and non-governmental organizations engaged in disaster recovery, and seeking to transform disasters into opportunities for sustainable development.
