The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) is pleased to announce that the Proceedings of the GP2025 are now available in the six official languages of the United Nations.

UNDRR and South Korea's NDTI organized a week-long study visit with a delegation of 13 disaster management officers to Bonn and Frankfurt, Germany.

Over the past four years, UNDRR has been working to embed a better understanding of risks across the humanitarian, development and peacebuilding contexts, with examples from Somalia, Guatemala and Yemen.

As the Second World Summit on Social Development (WSSD) kicks off this week, the message is clear: protecting people and development gains is essential to help countries anticipate, mitigate, and recover from crises while sustaining development progress.
