Applying for a job opening
All job openings in the UN Secretariat are published on the United Nations Careers Portal.
- When you apply for a job, you will be prompted to and must submit an application in the UN online recruitment system called Inspira.
- The Inspira application is an extended online resume called Personal History profile (PHP), specifically used by the United Nations Secretariat, where you articulate your education, professional experience and language skills.
- The application is used to evaluate your eligibility and suitability for the job.
- Applications received after the closing date are not accepted.
- Only candidates under serious consideration are contacted.
UNDRR periodically offers internships in Geneva and regional and liaison offices to give first-hand experience of the day-to-day working environment.
